Learning to write with expression

I have been learning to write a diamante poem with some -ing words and adjectives. I found it tricky to write the -ing words. I enjoyed writing about dogs and cats using lovely and fluffy. My next step is to have some more practice with diamante poems to help me learn. 

Learning to recognise language features.

I have been learning to do the suffixes and how to do the antonym and everything else. I found it tricky to find a simile. I enjoyed doing the antonyms. My next step is to learn how to add more detail by finding more 

My Bucket.

I like how I made my bucket because it's very beautiful. 

Learning to skim and scan to summarise.

I found this activity a little bit hard because I did the questions first and then during reading I thought about what I was going to write and then I wrote it down. The next step for me is to practice this with more books.

Learning to skip count in fives.

I have been using mathletics to help me learn to skip count in fives.

I think that 64 is the odd one out because it's not 65. 

I like using mathletics because it helps me to be able to do more maths like skip counting. 

Starting my writing with an interesting hook.
